Foaming Agents
Foaming Agents Overview - sulfate has gotten a bad reputation because of cheap versions of SLS. Foaming agents are needed for soap products as they act as emulsifiers & even more natural thinking brands like LUSH use SLS in their products. We're not here to say their SLS version is bad, but to avoid the chance of getting a poor version of SLS from a supplier we use more premium complex versions SCS & SLSA. Here's why: SLS is a relatively simple molecule enabling it to easily penetrate the outer layers of skin & cause irritation to underlying skin cells. Fragrance oil - an important aspect in creating a pleasurable, relaxing experience. We work with multiple partners to source & test the highest quality fragrances to create an amazing aromatherapy experience
Colorants - What's a bath bomb without some type of color show! Compared to competitors, our bath bombs are less colorful but this was an important decision for us to put your skin health over a crazy color show. We use food grade safe colorants and about 50% less than most companies
